A CELEBRATION OF LOVE AND HERITAGE

That was just a glimpse. If you’re curious to experience the whole story, scroll on, the full wedding film awaits you at the end.

VILLA BORROMEO: ELEGANCE AND GRANDEUR
Set in Cassano d’Adda, just outside Milan, Villa Borromeo is a majestic 18th-century villa known for its neoclassical architecture, vast halls, and perfectly manicured gardens. The grandeur of the indoor spaces and the charm of the outdoor areas make it the ideal venue for large, unforgettable celebrations — and it didn’t disappoint.

GETTING READY IN A DREAM LOCATION
Thanks to the villa’s spacious and light-filled rooms, Alexandra and Ruven chose to get ready on site, each surrounded by their closest friends and family. These quiet, anticipatory hours were filled with laughter, final touches, and the palpable excitement of what was to come.

A FIRST LOOK, FULL OF EMOTION
Before the ceremony, the couple met for a first look — an intimate, powerful moment. Out of respect for Jewish tradition and in the presence of the rabbi, Ruven held back from physical gestures. No hugs or kisses, but a gaze so intense and loving it said everything. It was a quiet kind of beauty, deep and moving.

A TRADITIONAL CEREMONY UNDER THE CHUPPAH
As night fell, the chuppah stood beautifully lit, ready to welcome Alexandra and Ruven. They made their entrance together, accompanied by their parents, followed by family and the bridal party. The atmosphere was deeply emotional — guests watched in silence, moved and present.

The ceremony was rich in symbolism and tradition: the Sheva Brachot, the signing of the ketubah, the blessings, the shared wine… and of course, the breaking of the glass. A joyful cheer erupted, and with it, the music. The celebration had officially begun.

DANCING, TRADITION, AND PURE JOY
The reception opened with energetic and joyful traditional dances: men and women started separately, as is customary, before coming together in a whirlwind of energy.

Alexandra and Ruven were lifted on chairs, raised above the crowd, smiling and laughing as their friends brought them together again in mid-air.

THE PARTY CONTINUES
After midnight, the celebration moved inside for the cake cutting and dancing late into the night. The atmosphere was festive, elegant, and filled with love — a perfect ending to a day none of us will forget.
