Wedding in France at Chateau de Villele in Nimes
Hi, I’m Alfredo Mareschi, a wedding videographer. I tell love stories through a blend of cinematic visuals and documentary moments, focusing on real emotions, genuine interactions, and the atmosphere that makes each wedding unique. My goal is always to create a film that truly reflects the couple and the place where their story unfolds.
Filming Aurelia and Stefan’s wedding at the Château de Villele near Nîmes was an incredible experience. The South of France offers a naturally cinematic light, but what made this day truly special was the deep personal connection the couple has with this location.
Wedding Film at Château de Villele, Nîmes
Aurelia and Stefan's love story
Aurelia is French, while Stefan has Serbian origins. They currently live in Brussels, but during their engagement they spent a lot of time in this château, a family property recently restored by Aurelia’s family. It’s a place filled with memories and meaning for them, which made it the perfect setting to celebrate their wedding.
Guests arrived from all over Europe, from Serbia and Belgium to the Netherlands and, of course, France. This created a warm, international atmosphere that added even more depth to the storytelling.
Getting ready inside the château
The day began inside the château’s elegant rooms, where both Aurelia and Stefan got ready surrounded by their closest family and friends. The natural light, the architecture, and the calm of the morning allowed me to capture moments that were both intimate and visually rich.
The ceremony in the woodland
The ceremony took place outdoors, in the small woodland area beside the castle, under the shade of the trees on a very warm day. It was one of the most emotional parts to film. The quiet nature setting, the guests gathered around the couple, and the exchange of vows created an atmosphere that felt both personal and timeless. The petal toss at the end added a beautiful, spontaneous touch.
Outdoor dinner
Dinner was held outdoors as well. The speeches from friends and family were full of warmth, emotions, and laughter, offering meaningful moments that helped shape the narrative of the film.
A jazz band from the Netherlands and a party that comes to life
The jazz band, traveling all the way from the Netherlands, brought an incredible energy to the evening. Their improvisations created a lively and engaging atmosphere. One of the highlights was when the saxophonist led all the guests in a playful train that moved into the woods, where the DJ set transformed the night into a vibrant celebration.
A day to remember
Aurelia and Stefan’s wedding at Château de Villele was a beautiful blend of elegance, nature, emotions, and unforgettable moments. As a wedding videographer, it’s the kind of day that stays with you, both for the story it tells and the experience of capturing it.
